What's the practical difference you feel while using SD and SDHC cards? - sdhc to sd

I bought a Canon SD790 and have a SanDisk 2GB SD Card. I have heard people say and read SDHC say it will give you more. But concretely, what would my reaction during the operation of the camera?

You'll notice much difference ... The maximum capacity of 2GB SD card, while SDHC (High Capacity) 4 GB and start the download. They are developed on the same physical size.

All I feel is relief that the card before he finished shooting.

As already mentioned, most people use to copy from us for our card images on the computer ... Capacity, it takes longer to move the image files from card to computer. I have a set of cards with 16 GB, then with a card reader is the only practical way to do it. I recently bought a ExpressCard/54 you can transfer images at a rate up to 2.8 GB of transfer / sec ... Anyone who is almost six times faster than USB 2.0 card reader, seven times faster than Firewire.

None. Simply put, more space on the card. Maps of 8 megabytes to many concerts in a very short time disappeared. There are maps, now that most card readers can read, even if they are more than 2 GB. If you do not use RAW mode and planning while on the work of great shows is just hype for the cards now have a wider scope. For video work is a different story, but for photography, so what? I covered international air show at Dayton this year (again, have for several years) and took over 300 photos on a 1gig card and only half.
